Truth Caravan and the Seven Boxes of Impeachment Evidence

Another GMA effigy burning

That's the Stop the Killings streamer

Arranging the seven boxes of evidence

Much better arrangement for all the world to see

The now ubiquitious Bayan Muna flags

After trashing the impeachment complaints filed by concerned citizens and backed by the opposition lawmakers, a Truth Caravan has been conducting a series of meetings to present the seven boxes of evidence that would be presented had the trial started.

Their first stop was in UP Diliman.

The party-list Bayan Muna headed the affair.

Here are some of the pictures I took during the event.

Sorry I was too sleepy to remember the details. Sleepiness caused by watching the Impeachment coverage and attending the State of the Nation:A Postcript forum the day before.

The Legal and Moral Purging Starts

The minority has axed seven turncoats in their ranks. These seven lawmakers decided not to support the impeachment complaint against Gloria.

The Lucky Seven (lucky because they'll surely receive additional pork)are:

1. Luis Asistio
2. Oscar Malapitan
3. Antonio Serapio
4. Vincent Crisologo
5. Joseph Santiago
6. Baisandig Dilangalen
7. Erico Fabian

Enrile's junior is said to be another candidate.

And Imee Marcos has a really good sense of timing.

Of course, the next story here is that PROSPERO NOGRALES IS SET TO WELCOME THE TRAITORS IN THE MAJORITY FOLD.

Pa-cute ka pa. If I know, they have been part of the majority even before the impeachment started.

Have you forgotten that you and Joe De Venecia have been bragging at the start of the year that there are several lawmakers who were part of the pro-impeachment bloc that will no longer support the second impeachment process?

Bastards. Bastards and More Bastards

You might be wondering why I haven't posted anything when there are a lot of hot air in the Philippine political world. Nope. Not yet.
The Fundit is still taking time. Trying to collate all my anger and one day (soon) it will just blow - not only in the virtual world but in the real world. Real world depends on whether you believe Plato, Aristotle or other crazy dead guy who had too much time (aka philosophers).
It will come.
But for now satisfy yourself with this scathing and absolutely correct view from the opinion pages of Malaya.
Bastards.
Too much bastards in the world.
Why the hell do we have to throw them out?
Can we not just kill them?
Or better yet -if you really want to throw them out- THROW THEM TO LEBANON.

The Hell with the Separation of Church and State!

A bishop filed impeachment complaint against Gloria Arroyo.
Now Malacanang and their greedy cohorts (Prospero Nograles) are saying that the bishop should be criminally liable because he violated the separation of church and state.
Yeah right.
It's acceptable for a politician to cheat in the elections but not it's unacceptable for a bishop to file impeachment charges.
Separation of church and state should be strictly implemented but the CLEAR LINE SEPARATING RIGHT AND WRONG COULD BE BLURRED.
The guts of Nograles!
You know what Mr. Majority Floor Leader, BEFORE YOU CRITICIZE BISHOPS, YOU SHOULD FIRST TELL YOUR SON NOT TO BRAG ABOUT P17,000.00 WORTH OF SUNGLASSES HE GAVE TO HER FORMER GIRLFRIEND.
Now I know where the pork barrell goes.

The Leftists and the Second Impeachment...

A self-proclaimed president alots another billion in her all-out war against the leftists. Or communists. Or NPA forces. Or militants. Or critical party-list members. Or oppositionists. Or government destabilizers. Or the upgraded term, terrorists.
Or the majority of the Filipinos.
Why?
Because the impending second impeachment is just around the corner. In fact, next week: June 26, 2006.
So what's the connection between the communists and the second impeachment?
Satur Ocampo? No.
Crispin Beltran? No.
Teddy Casino? No.
It's the money we're talking about.
Why increase the budget against the Reds when it seems that Palparan's Black Army is delivering quite well?
It's because Prospero Nograles and the rest of the administration tadpoles needs money. They need another financial reward to fortify their loyalty for the Midget.
You see, it's expensive to take care of a bunch of "for sale" lawmakers.
Joma Sison's scathing comment that the additional billions will dwindle due to corruption is so true. It's just that this kind of corruption is institutionalized by Nograles and his tribe.
The Reds will be wiped out in two years.
It will never happen. There are hundreds of lawmakers out there who needs to be fed.
