Nursing Exam Retake: Wag the Dog Strategy (1)

Gloria Macapagal Arroyo has ordered a nursing examination retake though there won't be any 2004 election retake.

When I read this item, I instantly smelled a Wag the Dog Strategy. Diverting our attentions from where? Where? Where else but from the Supreme Court's hostility toward her Initiative. Wow. The Supreme Court. Justice Angelina Sandoval-Gutierrez. Double wow.

While her allies in the Lower House are convincing themselves of a supposed Plan B (Con-Ass), she made the announcement regarding the controversial nursing board exam.

Unfortunately, it was a case of sorry-there-is-a-new-development-that-you-would-not-like-Gloria after her latest attempt to correct the prevalent Cheating Culture in the Philippines.

What new development? It's about her husband's friend Joc-Joc Bolante. Apparently, he was denied of posting a bail.

Ouch.
